Welcome
to the
SPERLING LAB

The Sperling Laboratory is based at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital with close links to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard Medical School. The Sperling lab is focused on the biology and treatment of hematopoietic malignancies with a particular focus on understanding mechanisms of therapy resistance.

To better understand these processes, we utilize a combination of functional genetics, mouse models, proteomics, molecular biology, and biochemistry. We are committed to understanding the mechanisms by which disease arises and evolves so that we can develop novel therapies for prevention and treatment and thus improve outcomes for patients.
